CONTEST: Win a Ticket to Night After Monsters!

November 2, 2011

Beer

UPDATE:
Before I get to the winner… The correct answer was actually 16, but I accidentally (drunkenly?) labeled Mikkeller’s Beer Geek Breakfast Weasel as Brunch in my post about Camp Beer VI. I also tried that beer at a bottle share at Freetail for the 2010 La Muerta release, that I also posted about.

So, I counted all comments with the answer of 16 or 17 right for my Random.Org random integer selection.

There were 23 correct guesses and Random.Org picked the number 4, so Kevin is our winner!

The lovely people at Do713 and Whole Foods are partnering up to give away a few tickets to one of the most anticipated Houston Beer Week Events yet, Night After Monsters! (check out my preview here) They asked me to run a contest on my blog to give away one ticket to the event, valued at $100.

Whole Foods- Montrose & their snazzy Bayou Bar

Night After Monsters will be Sunday, November 13th, 5-8 PM at the Montrose Whole Foods.

There will be plenty of awesome, rare beers to try; some that have never been available in Houston before, and may never be here again. Whole Foods is preparing some awesome beer hors d’oeuvre for snacking on as well. You can see the list of both here.

As an extra special treat, Mikkel of Mikkeller brewing will also be in attendance, all the way from Denmark to discuss his beers!

Mikkel Borg Bjergso

The Contest:

Details:
I will randomly* select one entry from the comments on this post that have: the correct answer, your full name, and email address. The winner will be selected on Thursday, November 10.

The Question:
How many different Mikkeller beers have I tried? As found in all of my previous blog posts, including collaborations with other breweries.

Good Luck!!

I counted 17. What was most interesting to me is that I’ve only been blessed to have one Mikkeller, and yet it was one that you haven’t had yet.

Nicole, Breakfast is a 7.5% abv beer and brunch is the more imperial version that is 10.9% abv. Two different beers based on the same weasel theme
